Qualifications
With over three decades of experience as a special educator, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and university instructor, I am a deeply knowledgeable and seasoned professional in the field of applied behavior analysis and special education.
Behavioral Analyst
As one of the first 3500 BCBAs in the world, I have extensive knowledge and applied experience in special education and behavior analysis. I have worked closely with school districts in Texas and operated my own successful ABA clinic.
Education
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Special Education from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. I went on to complete a Master's degree focused on Adapted Physical Education at Texas Woman's University. To gain specialized expertise in applied behavior analysis, I pursued advanced training from the renowned program at the University of North Texas.
Experience
I began my career as a special educator in Texas public schools. Since then, I have worked as a full-time BCBA consultant in four different school districts, owned and operated an ABA clinic, trained future BCBAs, and taught various college courses related to special education and behavior analysis.
Recognition
I have been actively involved in leadership roles within prominent state and local organizations for special education, educational psychology, and applied behavior analysis.
